Meet The Team

Our Sales, Construction and Operations teams hold over 150 years of
direct pool industry experience.

Terry, Director of Queensland Family Pools & Spas, and 2nd generation to his Father Chris Nicholls. Terry has worked across all facets of concrete pool building from, steel fixing, concrete, plumbing, sales and now Director.

Due to his 28 years of construction experience, Terry truly understands your pool from the ground up. Terry has a knowledgeable eye for the finer details of pool construction, ensuring all regulations are adhered to and brings dreams to reality.

Terry is well respected within the pool industry, receiving multi awards over the years for his dedication and talent.

Terry spends most weekends with his family attending equestrian competitions supporting his daughter’s passion for Show jumping and where possible, his love for the water flows over to fishing on spare weekends.

Renee is our Business Manager and wife to Terry.

Renee has been with Queensland Family Pools & Spas for 14 years being part of 1st & 2nd generation business ownership.

As Business Manager, Renee is responsible for Accounts payable, Digital Pool Drawings
and HR/Marketing.

When she’s not in the office, you will find Terry & Renee at equestrian competitions
supporting their daughter Kirra. They are also Cystic Fibrosis advocates, a condition close to their hearts and regularly give back to the community.

Mick has over 24 years’ experience in Swimming pool construction- winning multiple trade awards. He has been a part of the company throughout the change of ownership.

Mick now leads the construction team, overseeing every project from start to finish.

Mick’s genuine passion for the industry along with his extensive knowledge provides clients with a seamless pool building experience.

Outside of work you will find Mick having a hit of golf or throwing a line in.

Brandon has been with QFPS since 2017.
He started with us as a labourer, working his way up to construction supervisor.

Brandon’s dedication and hard work has paid off with him receiving a highly commended at the 2022 Queensland SPASA awards for construction tradesperson of the year.

Brandon has recently completed his Certificate IV in swimming pool and spa construction.

In Brandon’s downtime he enjoys getting out on the water with family and friends camping, fishing and on his Jet Ski.

Rob has been with QFPS since 2021 and is our leading pool service technician.

Rob works closely with each client to ensure their pool is in excellent condition and equipment is maintained, to enable safe swimming all year round.

Rob enjoys spending weekends by the water.

Miche has worked within the Swimming Pool Industry for the last 30 years. Miche is incredibly passionate about the industry.

Since commencing in 2021, Miche has
implemented many new processes and strategies to ensure seamless communication with our clients.

At the 2022 SPASA awards Miche won the Queensland Operational Excellence award & Queensland Professional of the year, Miche went onto winning National Professional of the year.

Miche enjoys weekends at the beach with her family.

Katia is our accountant and has been working for Queensland Family Pools & Spas for 3 years.

Fluid in both English and French, Katia has previous experience as financial controller and management accounting, contract accounts and bookkeeping.

She has a wealth of experience and brings her extensive knowledge to our family business.

On the weekend Katia enjoys spending time watching her kids play sport and do some gardening.

Kathryn joined QFPS in March 2022.

As office Administrator Kathryn is your first point of contact within QFPS.

Kathryn comes from an extensive hospitality background, with customer service at the
forefront she is driven to deliver an exceptional customer service experience from your initial enquiry & throughout your project.

Kathryn’s weekends normally consist of watching kids play Rugby League & exploring Brisbane.
