Award-Winning Concrete Courtyard Pool in Warner

Located in Warner, North Brisbane, this award-winning concrete courtyard pool transformed an underused front yard into a private space for relaxation and entertaining. The custom geometric design was carefully shaped around the existing patio, driveway, and property access, in order to make excellent use of a compact and highly visible part of the home.

Fully designed and built by Queensland Family Pools & Spas, this project received a Regional Gold in the Concrete Pool up to $80,000 category at the 2026 SPASA Queensland Awards of Excellence. We’re proud that this was recognised as an ideal example of how a custom concrete pool can combine both privacy and functionality with visual appeal for a smaller residential space.

Customer Brief

The client's brief was to transform an underutilised front yard into a private courtyard pool, creating separation from the neighbouring street while delivering a calm, intimate space.

Design Requirements

The position of the pool required careful coordination of multiple elements, including the new pool, front patio, driveway, and front yard access. The geometric pool design incorporates multiple angles, allowing it to fit precisely within the available space while maintaining functionality and visual balance. This approach maximised the site's potential without overcrowding the area.
